Lots of ice and snow melted over night. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Yesterday, the ice was in layers starting from the top down: with a layer of 6-8" snow/slush on top; a layer of white ice; and then about 2" of water; and then about a foot of good black ice. Hard drilling. Just about impossible ATVing. From a distance: today it looks like a thin layer of ice on top of the real ice and a lot of water. I imagine it would be very tricky walking.

15 minutes after these photos: bright sunshine. Have a good one! bayboy

Good job telling it like it is and showing us the conditions.

Getting to the fishing areas will be tough.

Cheers
