Just a quick report from this past saturday. It was my first time out for the season. After talking with a few through pm we decided to try long reach. It was a slow day. After going through every lure in my box twice finally managed to land 2. No size to speak of, first was about 1.5 lbs and the second was 3.5lbs. They looked like they came from different bodies of water. The first one was very pale and white where as the second one wa a very dark gold, even on the belly. One other in our group caught one about 2 lbs. Smaller one came on a williams ice fishing spoon in gold/silv hammered finish and the other came on a 1 oz. champ. chartruse/silver
Just wanted to thank the dew drop in for the ride out onto the ice and the pick up off the ice. Great folks !
