When I see the old boys taking there huts off, I know something's up........ I would bring a heavy hut off just in case.

You can always pull it off now and put it back later......................

Anyone know how the ice is on the Deseronto side of Forresters Island or Huffs or Sherman's Point?? A group of us might be heading up this weekend pending the ice conditions. Some reports don't sound to promising with the weather being warm and rain in the forecast.

was out at huff's this morning not much ice left it has lost about 5-8 inches since sunday some spots still have 8-10 inches but then you can drill a hole 5 feet away and then there is only 4 inches and not black ice just soft white stuff but my guess would be that shermans should still have some good ice on it

Thanks Metallicat I kind of figured it wasn't going to be good news with all the reports of rain and warm temps. Hopefully the cold will be back and stiffen the ice back up maybe we'll be able to get up there the end of the month. Thanks again.

It rained all day and poured hard last night, Id say alot of areas would be sketchy till we get some cooler nights and days! Anyone else have any more info I will go check down by Belleville shoreline today and report.
