Hey All,

Went fishing yesterday off Rednersville road (Onkerdonk) between 4:00-6:30 PM. Measured about 14 inch of ice and didnt need the Auger to open my old holes (only about an inch of ice, but in a hut mind you). I was surprised to see two full size vehicles out on the ice about 1km from me. You wouldnt catch me driving out on the ice even in the best of ice conditions.

Caught a dozen mid size perch and threw them back for next time. Marked a couple big fish on the hummingbird but never had "the" bite. I must say though, the weather was awesome and loved the new tire chains on my ATV. All and all, great outing.

Stephane

Thanks for the report Stephane. I agree with you, a car out at Onkerdonk with the currents I've experienced and the depth of water is just plain crazy! Just ain't worth it.
