Make it a bit more fun and comfortable for you and your wife Shawn, get a hold of one of the local guides and let them cater to your needs. See someof the listed sponsors here, some are available and some will be booked.
Other guides are word of mouth as well and will do you a good service.

You end up in a hut, with bait, pre-drilled holes and a good trip.
Happy Valentines Day Wife I just ordered you a day on the ice.

FF

Quinte ice fishing team. there link is on the home page. They are tops! met the boys when our group went last weekend!
I pretend to know a little about the BOQ after 20 plus years of fishing it and have met many locals on soft and hard water. Follow the locals as we did last weekend and they will put you on the fish. Quinte ice fishing team was fishing right beside us. Nice portable huts, ride to and from and some excellent fihing guides. Ryan has a 31.5`` pig posted on the board caught this year. give them a try.
Ps: does the wife have a sister? My wife wont even talk about fishing.
Good luck,
Snarfy

Jason from WoodnWater here. I do have a few openings between now and the end of the season.
My services include everything from the fully stocked heated hut, fishing equipment, minnows, loan of floater suits if required, ATV or SLED transportation (ice conditions pending), guide for the full trip, and best of all WALLEYE GUARANTEE !!!!!!!! or the charter is 1/2 PRICE...
You need to bring nothing other then warm clothes, fishing license, lunch and camera to capture the fun.
Have a look at my website for rates.
Thanks Jason
