Is the spearing of Walleye by anyone a legal practice? What are the laws in support of this practice? If it is legal then the laws supporting this practice should be made public so there is no confusion. If it is illegal , the laws should be enforced with the prescribed penalties. If it is not clear whether it is legal or illegal perhaps part of the tournament monies can be used to obtain a final answer to this issue.
