I'll be at my first opener this Saturday - probably in the Deseronto area. I would appreciate some advise on baits to use and how to fish them.

The hot thing last year was the smithwick rogue, rapala has similar colours out as well, the husky jerk series. Give it a try, but who knows, maybe a Mepps or jigs/minnows will do the trick?
