Haven't posted in a long time. Couldn't remember my password, and the password retrievel isn't working. Dan, you may want to look into this.

One week to go to the opener. I'll be there as always. Staying at Mowhawk bay again this year. First time back to Quinte since last opener. I can't believe I missed the fall fishing last year! First time I didn't make it down in November since '97. Time has this bad habit of getting away from you if your not carefull.

My normal opening day partner bought himself a race car and won't be joining me this year. Seems his first race will be May 3rd. Marco and Kevin are taking his place. So we've got to win so we can rub Terry's nose in it. If you can't have fun at your friends' expence, how can you have fun?

Anyway, see ya's on the water, I'll post my results when I return.

Hey Linz, I see your name on the Zoo Board once ina while so I know that you're still there.

It was strange not seeing your name on the fall fishing posts, maybe this year.

Any idea as to where you'll be fishing? Cement plant - a bit of a run or around the mouth of the River.

Remember a winner a few years ago was caught at Green Point, you can see that from Mohawk Campground. Say Hi to Dave the campground owner from Superdad, met him at the TRTO Sportsmans SHow.

Superdad:
I going to try not to get pre-programed into expecting the fish to be in a certain area as I've done in the past. We can't fish for walleye or pike till saturday, but we plan to check out several areas (Napanee R., Salmon R. Thompson's hole ect) with the underwater camera Friday afternoon. Hopefully what we find with the camera, fishfinder & temp gauge on Friday will help us clue in to what's going to work on Saturday. This will also be the first time in a few years there will be no moon at all on the opener, so our normal routine of trolling from 12:01am till dawn on Saturday will be modified somewhat.

See ya on the water
