Hi folks, I havent fished the "Bay" on the opener for several years now, but I just can't resist any longer. I figure this to be a late spawn this season, but living in Ottawa I have not been down to my trailor yet this year and therefore unable to check out the Bay.
If anyone has any tips/advice on fishing the opener this year, it would be greatly appreciated.
It wouldn't be the first time I've spent many fishless hours on the bay in recent years, but I wouldn't mind a couple of Walleye to dip into some flour and then hit the frying pan.
