Quinte Fishing

does anyone have any idea what the spawn has been like this year .are there alot of fish.i would assume the water table has remained constant which is a good thing.are there alot of shore spawners etc.

Anything spawning near shore at the Trent River in Trenton never got to spawn as a certain SELECTIVE group made sure of.If you had seen the spawn laying on the steps (probably 25 or so steps) was 1/2 to 1 inch thick on all steps at the #1 locks.Someone please tell me that isnt going to hurt the future walleye in the trent(ya right).The fish were dragged on a rope probably up to 1/4 mile down as many steps then up that many steps again, who would want to eat a fish after that?My guess they would end up like last year ,dumped in garbage cans or dumped at dead end roads.
