Quinte Fishing

may i ask where abouts i might find some trout in the trenton area water besides the at the independant!????im very novice at this and i am curious if they there is any here at all right now???and any possibilities on next weekends opening for walleye..or will they be every where...? i am under the understanding from past articles here the late ice has some effect on the stages the fish are at right now..is that right? i am a conservationist type fisherman as my license represents and i dont want to fish if it is gonna effect things long term.

Warkworth, Off-chutes are about the best bet for speckies/browns as little of adjacent land is not posted. (salt creek/cold creek)
