I was out this Friday ..NASTY weather if your alone trying to manage everything yourself...managed many small fish jigging but nothing worth talking about lol..lost 2 nice ones half way to the boat because of personal errors while trolling.
I was out Saturday again by myself and managed more small fish... I had marked some big fish on the bottom when I was trolling… so I thought I would give jigging that area one last chance before heading home...it paid off!..i landed my PBJ(Personal Best Jigging) …a nice 10 lber :D ..or 9lbs 14ounces if you want to be exact…called it a day.

Headed out today with my dad and 2 of his friends… started off trolling .. as I was setting up the second planar board..the first one had a big hit pulling the board about a foot underwater…the first fish of the day was fought and landed, a 10lb pike..30 minutes later ..the same board was hit just as hard as the first..after a 15 minute long battle out came mr.walleye.. my personal best so far a fat 12lb hog :D..okay I lied it was 11lbs 14 oz..close enough..beat my 11lb 7oz record!... continued trolling again ..an hour later one of the rods go ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ..first thing that goes off in my head was F*** not a sheephead… this fish went side to side..took 50 ft of line at a time and when we got it close enough to see what it was..we all thought it was a large musky but nopee..out came A RAINBOW TROUT :D…weighing in at 9 lbs 1oz..opportunity of a life time..will probably never get that chance in the bay again!.totally unexpected..that puppy is going to be mounted :)… for the rest of the day we missed 2 nice hogs..and caught a few small fish.

Had a great weekend breaking my PB jigging and PB trolling for walleye..and to put icing on the cake a beautiful rainbow trout!...couldn’t ask for a better weekend!…decreasing boat traffic would’ve helped a lot tho :P lol

Goodluck out there guys and be safe!
Can’t wait til next weekends :D
Here are some pictures..enjoy!

Way to go Aadil, Nice fish and good report as always.

That's the second big rainbow I've heard about this year. What a different fight.

Cheers
