Came down to the Bay with my wife, recently unemployed and at loose ends. zshe was ready for wind and snow, but all we got was warm and sun. Only landed 1 walleye, Saturday afternoon down by the antenna past the batcave, off a rigger at 90 feet on a DDT11 with a red belly. I didn't mark big schools of bait until Monday morning just inside the ferry on the north side of the channel. Big lazy walleye were tight to the bottom waiting for the buffet.
I'll be back for the big girls another time, going to pick up the boat from being winterized. Best of the season to everyone. Stay safe on the water.
