My husband had a fantastic first half of the week (many 9, 10 and 11 lb 'eyes), but when I got there on Thursday, things had changed. We had to work a little harder to boat the fish we boated, but we never got skunked. Then, on Monday, the Fish God smiled on us. I caught a 10.1 lb walleye on a jig - my Personal Best Jigging (PBJ). There might be some rumors about me jumping up and down and screaming like a girl ... I WAS excited! :D

After awhile we headed to Thompsons to troll a little. We managed a 11.1 lb'r and a couple of nice eaters (though we didn't eat them ... all were released).

Pictures can be found here: http://www.photoworks.com/slideshow/alb ... urce=pw980

I really want to thank Grant and Gary for turning us on to the jig bite. It was great meeting them. They are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about fishing ... and just plain fun to be around. We look forward to catching up with them the next time we are up. Thanks guys!

Ken and Dawn

Congrats on the new PB's.

We were in the boat that you were talking to after you landed the 11.1 lber. Nice job fighting the fish.

Hope you come back to Quinte to try and upgrade the PB.

Cheers

David aka Superdad (The passenger in that other boat)

PS Just looked at your pictures and we're in that one with the 11.1lber

Thanks Superdad! That was very exciting! The whole trip was fantastic ... great weather and we caught fish every day ... who could ask for more? However, Monday was the icing on the cake! We can't wait to come back.

Great fish Dawn.

It has been great spending quality time with you and Ken, let's keep it going, as long as the ice stays away we'll be on the water.

Cheers, Hodgey...
