My husband had a fantastic first half of the week (many 9, 10 and 11 lb 'eyes), but when I got there on Thursday, things had changed. We had to work a little harder to boat the fish we boated, but we never got skunked. Then, on Monday, the Fish God smiled on us. I caught a 10.1 lb walleye on a jig - my Personal Best Jigging (PBJ). There might be some rumors about me jumping up and down and screaming like a girl ... I WAS excited!
After awhile we headed to Thompsons to troll a little. We managed a 11.1 lb'r and a couple of nice eaters (though we didn't eat them ... all were released).

I really want to thank Grant and Gary for turning us on to the jig bite. It was great meeting them. They are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about fishing ... and just plain fun to be around. We look forward to catching up with them the next time we are up. Thanks guys!
