Quinte Fishing

Trolled east of the ferry, two guys, four rods and a boat load of anticipation. We pulled reefrunners and taildancers at scattered leads to try and put together a pattern.
Within a half hour, 1st fish. 2.5, continue our troll and twenty minutes later, 2nd fish, a 9.5." When the fish speak we should listen", so we modified our presentation.
By 11:30 we boated two more fish in the 10pound range, with all four fish hitting reefrunners in a greenish pattern,150fb, and boards firing when boat was put back into gear, after coming to a complete stall
Fishing slowed for the next hour, so we decide to start up the Outfitter and try our luck jigging, and just like last week, Thompson didn't disappoint.
We jigged 37-50ft of water with various ice lures, raps being the most productive by far. We managed another 16 smaller eyes(eaters) in the next 3hrs.

That's the way to work em...Get the early troll bite with the bigger girls and then go have fun jigging...I LOVE IT!!

great report! gotta love trolling with 2 rods per person..i love fishing alone but i hate when i have to use 1 rod the whole day west of the ferry ..good job guys
