I had a client out for 3 hours this morning. Fished deeper water for some November Smallies since they are closed on Simcoe as of Tuesday.

We landed lots, lost a few and missed lots of hits. It was a great day on the water. Sorry for the crappy pics, I can only post the ones of myself that were taken with my blackberry.

Nice smalies..... nice to see.... seems like every angle on BOQ has walleye on the brain!!! I"m not up very often but my father in law has been coming for years and me with him for about 7. Think i can get him to fish for bass??? not a chance, my wife and I will all the time and there are plenty of fish for sure! Much better fight as well.

Nice fish and it was a beauty day judging by the calm waters.

Dan, I've seen calmer water in November than I have all year. We had a great morning, my only regret was that we couldn't stay for the whole day. It was definatly the way to end the smallie season :D

Jeff, what's the Grey Cup

RaZoR, November can be some of the best bass fishing of the season. Like walleye it can be the best time for targeting trophy's but anyone fishing deep water smallies needs to take care when bringing them up and "fizzing"them.

I've witnessed lots of people targeting these fish, taking their pictures and throwing them over board with no regard for the fish. I had to rescue a few on the weekend.

It is the championship game of the Canadian Football League and it also took place on Sunday. What I meant to say is that with all of those nice footballs, it looks like you could have had your own Grey Cup game!

I thought you were talking about all the fish that were lost, while slowly bringing them up.

Way to go Rough Riders :P

I have sent an email to some one that should be able to give me some literature on the subject. He works for the MNR and has been directly involved with a study they have been conducting on the subject. I will post it once I receive it.
