There ia a local weekly paper called the community press. Last night I opened up this weeks copy to find a brief but excellent article highlighting the Quinte Bassmasters Club. There is an outdoor education centre/conservation area just north of Belleville along the shores of the Moira river, called the "Frink Centre" . Numerous schools in the area take day trips to the centre for nature/outdoor education. I have taken days off work to volunteer as a parent with my own children and its a great place for a kid to learn about nature. The local Bassmasters for the last few years have gone to the centre and volunteered countless hours fixing/cleaning/helping out. Great job guys and great PR for Anglers contributing to the resource we all value!!!

I am always happy to hear about this type of community spirit by an outdoors group. Thanks for posting this Dan! :)
