Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the bay is frozen over yet and what launches are still open.

Thanks ,

Hi Taro,

I don't have a report from this morning, but as of yesterday, Picton was open although it was beginning to ice up around the docks. Telegraph narrows and into Deseronto was almost tight. There were still open areas, but a lot of ice.

Good luck.

Jeff

Deseronto is pretty much covered over now up to the Hwy49 bridge and as far as I could see going towards Picton. NOT anywhere close to being safe yet. Low temps and no snow this weekend will help lots.

QP - I was driving along bayshore rd and noticed it out there. couldn't tell if it was moving though. If it's stuck it's gonna take another tug to get it out cause the ice is just gonna get thicker
