Unfortunately I was called away from the weigh-in closing so it will be a couple of days before I get the final results. That said I do know that a lot of 11-12lbers dominated the top 10 spots in the walleye category. On the pike side a 15 lber held the lead for most of the weekend but fell to a 16lber. Thats a huge pike for the bay. I was out sat afternoon in Trenton and watched a few 8lbers caught but nothing for me except pike. On Sunday at the same place there were a few walleyes caught jigging but with the clear blue skies and flat calm water the bite was slower. Many of the guys started to troll by about 10:30. I couldn't believe the number of guys who would try to troll in and around all the boats jigging. I witnessed a number of these guys tangling up lines and drawing lots of curses but it didn't appear to sink in as they just kept trolling. The few fish I saw jigged up were caught on on a jig & minnow while rip jigging.
