What is happening here? I have observed at least one message that has been "reworded". Has anyone else?

This board allows registered users to edit their own posts. Other than that no one else except me can edit or delete posts.

I figure that being unregistered, either my post was consciously edited?...or someone used the ODG name.

By chance would the site host be OPSEU or connected to them via MNR? (I understand that OPSEU has many types of jobs and it has been stated on the board about being aquanited with MNR staff?)

I am not asking this as a smart aleck remark, but was somewhat surprised when my post (to clarify I now have much more support for the government position and little for OPSEU)

Following observing the OPSEU tactics with conservation volunteers and picketing business, I have decreased respect for the operation (which in itself is a form of business). The more I research the more sickening it gets. The leadership here leaves much to be desired. Perhaps next they will burn assorted books that do not fall in line with OPSEU policy.... I was never one to enjoy much of a "group think"mentality anyways. Independent thought is priceless even for a silly old man.

Perhaps more time will assist the "collective", in enjoying and establishing sound work and behavior traits. So many good young people do not deserve this kind of destructive internal labour leadership. PS. THe tax payers also deserve more...much more...value, and service delivery without the hassles.

Send me the orginal text and I will fix it. I discovered there was a setting on the board which had set itself to default which left the entire board vunerable to editing. It has been repaired.

Thank-you for clarifying what might have happened.

I am still unsure about the motivation for this and again ask to let me know if you are part of the OPSEU organization as a member. This is not intended as an attack but assists me in knowing where someone might be affiliated with (I believe that you and a few others asked that of another board person at one point, insinuating that they were an anti).

Are you part of OPSEU as a member perhaps? This is not necessarily a bad thing but simply helps one understand.

We all have some conscious and unconscious bias and sometimes affiliations. Balance and fairness are never in true harmony, given a persons background, belief system, etc. To say anything else (including myself) is folly.

My own bias is unequiv. to rethink, redesign, redeploy and retool MNR. If this means involving a labour organization...so be it. I want a system that wants, and strives for excellence (many many people in many orgs. would like this also and believe that the people of Ont. have....a bad deal). The only true risk is gaining respect.... union rhetoric has their members off track about service delivery in this day and age (tactics are very rough and thinking is outdated ..... too expensive for members and.

It can be tried to be packaged any one of a number of ways...they just need to be updated in thinking by about 30 yrs........ extremely out of touch with modern "functional" labour deployement.

This will not likley ever be fully complete, but must be strived for. The lack of solid decison making let alone creative management....stinks.

The solid positive examples are out there....the will to succeed is not. Overhaul time will soon hopefully be here.
