Quinte Fishing

Could someone please advise where I might find a public launch for opening day. Or a private launch that charges , I don't mind paying. I'm new to the area and have only been to Hay bay once , stayed at Pickerel Park. Would like to go closer to the Picton area. Does the water get really busy opening day ??

There are 2 launches I use off Hwy 33 from Picton. 1st is the Glennora marina (they charge) and the second is McFarlens Conservation. Its a good ramp, deep & steep and its free. You may want to give yourself some extra time because it does get busy from 4am and on. Good Luck!

There's a launch ramp in Picton Harbour, small charge to launch.
