Hey guys, I was hoping to get up and do some fishing, but my work schedule looks like its restricting me to fishing mainly mid day, like 11am - 3 pm type thing, which sucks I know!! Has anyone been getting a mid-day bite at all or should I not bother at all?? thanks for any advice...Chris

One thing is for sure you wont catch any if you aren't there. If your line is in the water you have a shot is my best advice.

I've always found that there is a good mid-day bite that a lot of anglers miss by heading in for lunch. I would lay money on the largest walleye of the day being caught around the 1pm time. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck....Jason

I have to agree........ ive gone home many times with a limit of afternoon fish... seems to be a good quiet time when the morning crowd has left and before the afternoon crowd arrives , funny how it works that way sometimes id even go as far as saying alot of times

had a pretty slow day Friday. no action from 6 am to 6 pm except for 2:30 to 3:00 pm. lost one at the hole at 2:30, then pulled in a nice 7.5 pounder at 2:45.
