Coming from Kingston tomorrow morning. I have never fished the Area around Big Island. Looking to purchase some muds close to the Island? I think I'll be driving west via hwy#401 to 49 south? Or I could take 62 south and stop in belleville?

What is the name of the road that wager farms is on???? Thanks in advance guys .

We always stop at Moon's bait shop on Pearl street in Deseronto and then proceed across the bridge.

I know bullpit had some of the best bait selection last year, usually has shiners and muds, good price and a really nice guy, he even usually knows where the hot bite is off the island, well worth the visit. Im trying to dig up directions for ya.

bull pits is about 1km east of demoressville. if your coming from kingston get off the 401 and come across the 49 bridge, then as soon as your off the bridge hang a right and go down that road all the way. when you get to where you turn for big island keep going straight. you will come to a T intersection, hang a left. follow that road throught demoressville and bullpit will be about 1 km out of town. then just back track to big island. they should have muds but if not got lots of shiners. they charge $3.50/ doz

hope this helps,

Dave
