I just recieved a call from Wagar Farms concerning parking on his lot. This lot is open for people to park with a small fee of $5, well the land owner is very upset that on Sunday after church he went over to get the money from the box and someone has stole the money from the last 3 days. Now he knows that it might not being a fisherman that did this but he is very upset that this happened. He is now thinking of closing off is land to park as he said its not worth it. I hope Russell does`t close off his land as we are already finding it hard to park and get to the ice. Just letting you guys know.

That is too bad. I was parked there on Sunday and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary with the box when we put out $5 in. Got there at about 9 am and pulled out at about 5pm. This was the first time we have ever parked there and we commented that it was very generous for this farmer to let us park on his property for a nominal fee. It is too bad some jerk may ruin it for everybody.

What a disapointment , good people that dont mind helping out a few anglers are getting few and far between . Through some goof in amongst honest people and the goof screws it for every one else . Yes what goes around comes around , he or they will get theirs !!!

thats to bad , i personaly don't fish there much any more , but i have in the past, i myself, if i knew the guy, would tell him the only way to cure this, is to issue, sell, seasonal parking passes, then no more cash problems, no permit, no dice...... i do understand that there is a little work involved, but at the same time, there is some cash to be made..........just my opinion, there is always going to be some as#$%^e thats going to screw up a good thing like this. It's better than a ticket or annoying the people that live down there and the bylaw officer.................

I agree, and mentioned that same thing to the guy once offered to pay for the year but to him it seemed to make more logic to pay each time. maybe now he might rethink that situation

Where does he live?

I'd gladly go deposit the money for parking in his front door. Morning, noon or night.
