What is the "Uzick spinner"? I've read about guys using them, looked on the net, and asked friends and still don't know. Please help.
Thanks David,
John

A friend of mine has been making these spinners for over 15 years. They're a simple lure but have tremendous fish catching appeal.

People have been trolling them and some people have been casting them, both with good success.

Here's what they look like.

Hay Bay Larry has made some and some places around Hay Bay have them, I'm not sure what places have them. Perhaps he'll respond and advise where they are available.

Thanks for the info, picture did not show on my computer but I think I know what the "Uzick spinner" is. What size, shape and colour is the blade?
Thanks, John

John,

Use a No 4 Indiana blade, Chartreuse or Orange, with a mylar strip across the face.

Superdad,
Do you put live bait on the hook? Thanks.

You put a small piece of worm on the shank of the hook and tip it with a 4" plastic worm.

Use 1/4 - 3/8 oz bullet sinker for best results. Have the lure back from the weight 24 - 30 inches.
