Quinte Fishing

It seems to have taken forever, but the opener is finally in sight. For myself and my group, this will be the 5th consecutive year we've made the trip for the opener. We make many trips all over Ontario each year, but Quinte is the first trip, and the one we get hyped up for the most. But it's funny. I can't remember a single opener where we've boated more than 5 walleye between us. Yet every year we come back and try it again. Sometimes it's not the fishing that makes the trip. It's getting away from the routine for a couple days with some good friends and having fun. Catching fish is just the icing on the cake.

You're right there Linz, getting away.. My buddies and I ( 3 IN TOTAL ) have been coming up for the last 5 years and for the last 3 years we've been completely skunked... I think " Getting Away" is only one part of it though. The possibility of catching that all famous Quinte hog probably has alot to do with it.(Right).. That and just not knowing the meaning of the word quit... Not to mention, everyone that I have dealings with is just so easy going. Good Luck to you and you're crew Linz....
