I am heading to the bay area the second or third week of september. any suggestions where to fish for some big walleye( if a particular place is better i will travel as long as it is within about an hr of hay bay/.......is this time any good for walleye....also what would be better early or late sept... it will be my first time in the area... i would like to have a good chance to hook into a 10 + #er...... any response would be appreciated....

It's a bit too early for the Lake fish to come into the Bay, BUT, there are 10 lb fish in the bay.

FIsh the weedlines and check the big waters near the cement plant for suspended fish.

Read the Board and see what's happening.
