Quinte Fishing

New to the area and looking for a range or crown land to pattern in a shotgun before the opener. Any suggestions. Looking to avoid having to pay a $160 yearly fee at the Lower Trent Club just to use the range 2-3x per year. Looking for a pay per use range or even better, crown land where an unofficial range has been set up.

Any ideas are welcome.

There is an old quarry on Crown Land just north of 401 off Deseronto Rd. It's on 'Quarry Road' beside the Waste Management Dump. The road is pretty rough going in there so go slow. There are lots of safe places to pattern a shot gun there for sure. Might be too far out of your way but thought I would speak up just in case.
