LCx 25C Lowerance Depth Finder

My four year old lcx 25c seems to be taking a while to pick up the depth, normally instantaneous, this year...blinks for quite a while before picking up the depth. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a transducer. Do you aim yours upwards when your travel?? Dust and stuff will wreck the bottom.

Had that happen to mine a year ago.

try cleaning it with warm soapy water, and a good rince if that dont do it you might be needing a new transducer

Thanks, I kind of think it might be the transducer seeing how it has worked fine for three previous seasons, now after sitting all winter, it is acting squirrely, will clean and also order new one.
