Made it out for 3 days over the long weekend, started out Friday, got the boat in the water at 1:38 pm and fished til 8:30.
Wow!!! What a day for us, it was like the walleye were stupid. Everywhere we went, and everything I threw seemed to work. I took out 2 guys that dont have the chance to fish as often as I do and man were they happy. We landed over 40 walleye, and handful of pike, one being upwards of 10 pounds. For us the fish were definitely on. We weren`t trolling or bottom bouncing, but I also dont want to say exactly what we were doing either, thats half the fun; figuring it out :P

Made it out the next morning and the walleyes were still going strong, not quite as fast and furious as the day before but once the sun got up and the water warmed a bit they were hitting good. We landed over 20 eyes, 2 pike and were off the water by 1pm as I had promised my 2 buddies I would clean some up and have a fish fry before they had to leave.

Sunday I took my son out for a few hours and again the walleye did not disappoint, we landed 14 eyes and 2 pike as well. I lost 2 pike that were pretty big, one snapped from a faulty knot I tied  and the other snapped at boatside. The risk of not using a leader!!

Our average fish was around 2 lbs with a few smaller and plenty closer to 3 pounds, and the largest was close to 7lbs. I ran into Dan and flap n shad out there as well. It was nice taking a break to chat and exchange a few tips and techniques as to what/where was working and what was not. I only took 3 photos of the weekend as the battery was dying in the digital camera, I ` ll post em when I upload them.

Quinte is an awesome fishery, some day I have hopes of living down that way.

Here are 2 pics added, of the walleye we kept for the fish fry.

I also took the time out to take my niece down to the dock for some panfishing. Its her first time fishing, and it took a little coaxing to get her to hold the fish (a rock bass). But she had a ball :!: :!:

Well done, Teppy
Great to see a smile on the kids face. Looks like a good fish fry.
