Quinte Fishing

Hi and thank you so much for letting me become a member.
On August 13th my 12 year son and I will be camping at Perfect View or Pickerel Park for 8 nights.
I am from Ottawa and I would like him to experience his first Northern. Of course some Pickerel and all the other fine species/trimmings. Where would be the best place to camp from a fishing standpoint? I own a 14' deep hull utility with a 15, 2 stroke. Your help would make our trip more enjoyable and certainly have 2 happy members returning year after year.
Would you also provide some valuable fishing locals as he has the patience of a 12 year old!

With your size boat I would suggest perfect vue. Be sure and have all your safety equipment and watch the weather. Fish anywhere in Hay bay with just about anything you want and you will catch bass and pike. Jig or troll around Thompsons and Shermans point for walleye. Good luck and have fun.
