Hello, I have been reviewing this board for the past half hour i am very glad to have found it. Sounds like the walleye fishing is picking up again. I am coming up next week for the annual family vaction and will be staying out by Prinyers Cove. Has anyone had any success out that far by the lake? If so any suggestions? Also I see a lot of refrences to these Uzick spinners, have people been using whole nightcrawlers with these and are they thread them on or hooking in the middle? Looking forward to my week off, and hopefully some "marble eyes" to mix with the smallmouth and perch we usually catch. Thanks for any info, Jeff

I have had some success trolling for suspended walleyes in deeper water in front of Prinyers Cove. Trolling in 70 - 90 ft, down 20 - 40 ft.

Try threading about an inch of nightcrawler on the shank, then put on about 3 3/4 inches of a 4 inch plastic worm. Ensure the hook is still protruding once complete.

As always had a wonderful time up in Canada and at Bay of Quinte. Spent most of my time fishing from Prinyers Cove east to west side of Amherst Island. Caught several nice smallmouth and a lot of little ones off both Lands Ends Point and off Amherst all in 15-20 foot of water. Lots of perch and "removed" at least 100-150 of those gobbies. Boy those things are everywhere. Has anybody found a recipe for them yet? We launched Wendsday at the park between Picton and Glenora and caught one decent walleye off Trumpour Point before the rain chased us away. Thanks again for the great board and wonderful fishing!
