Hey there Scott,

Saw you on CKWS last night talking about Quinte Tourism - good job.

Finally recognizing that Anglers DO spend $$$$ and visit Quinte.

Cheers

Dave,

There is a BIG marketing campaign for Quinte starting this fall. They are pushing golf, wineries, and fishing. Going to be really big from what I understand so far. Spending around $430 000.00 for marketing! The tourism operators be it accommodations, tours, charter operators, and golf courses are all working together so a guest staying at any hotel in Trenton, Belleville, Napanee, or Picton, can book a fishing package right from the front desk. Pretty cool.

If you are in Ottawa keep your eyes open, from what I understand there will be billboards and bus placards with a picture of a nice quinte walleye on it.

Scott

Scott,
That's a really good service for the quinte area.!
I spend my summers here in Quinte but go home to Ottawa each 4-6 weeks to catch up on things. I'll keep an eye out for advertising.
