Was up north for a couple days so decided to take the wife out fishing. We fished a river that connects to the ottawa. We showed up at about 745 an fished for a while, I was starting to get nervous, as I had heard the pickeral fishing wass very slow in the area and the last time i was here i fished for a few hours an didnt get anything. So anyways, I finally hooked into one, turned out to be a real nice fish, went 4 lbs on the scale. We caught several more fish that night, an got a couple more decent sized ones to show. All fish caught on crankbaits about 2 feet off shore! hot lures were a j9 chartreuse and a pink yozuri crystal minnow. Enjoy!
