Northern Pike Locations

Fishing Big Island and Hay Bay in two weeks with my dad and looking for any specific areas to catch Northern Pike. Not to eat but just for fun. Thanks!!

The pike seem few and far between lately... Most of the pike (other than hammer handles) will likely be out of Hay Bay. If you are looking for big ones you will need to go deeper. Mallory Bay has some nice deeper weedlines that often hold decent size pike try 12-16 feet. I would also check up Adulphous Reach as it has some deeper weedlines as well. Rocky points that drop to deeper water are usually good this time of year if you can find them.

havent seen much pike out on the bay this year, ive been out at least 20 or 30 times and weve only caught 2 or 3 pike, but then again we werent targeting them.
