Just got back from spending a few weeks on Quinte. Took a whole week off of fishing as I had family down with birthdays and dinners, tubing, kneeboarding and all the other fun stuff.
Bass opener for the young lad and myself was the best one so far, we counted every fish we caught from morning til night.
We started out going to Lake Ontario for some smallies, it wasn`t as calm as they said it would be so our venture out there was short lived. We landed 20 smallmouth for our efforts, with a few over 4lbs.
Next up was Quinte, first a stop at the Tim Hortons in Picton then on to the ramp. It was coming down pretty hard so I enjoyed my coffee in the truck before launching. (specially because it was my sons treat, he bought!)
Happened to see a water snake up close so I snapped a quick photo.

Never took a ton of pics, just a couple of some decent fish of the day.

Young lad with a nice one,

I picked up these 2 fish back to back, Andrew wanted to weigh the first one so I handed it to him and next cast, same spot I picked up another. So we weighed them both, one was 3.14 and the other was 3.12. Snapped a quick photo and let them go.

After the day was over, we had bass thumb bad and were tired.
Over all we landed the 20 smallies in the morning and 62 largemouth in the afternoon and evening, nothing over 4lbs though but a good day none the less!!!
