Anyone having any success targeting Musky on the Moira at O'Briens bridge? If so any knowlege you're willing to share would be great, including alternate locations.

Cheers

The musky fishing there is still OK. (not as good as it was 10-15 years ago) Too many people keep and kill fish!

I lost count of all the Muskies that I have heard about that were kept from that system. (thats a shame....)

There are still good musky fishing in there. The launch is terrible, make sure you have 4X4. As for presentations, Large top water baits work well. Large bucktails along weed edges and throwing bulldawg style baits in the deep water has produced a lot of fish over the years.

You can go both up and down river. Be careful going down river. Its shallow on the first bend and there are some rock piles about 1/2 KM down from an old bridge. (should be weeds coming out of the water)

I have been fishing there almost 20 years.
