Hey everyone, just recently moved to Kingston from Thunder Bay with my girlfriend and have already started fishing up a storm. We dont have a boat so its all offshore for us. We have tried quite a few different spots and have mostly come across bass. Anyways Im loving the bass but really missing the walleye. Ive been reading a lot about the bay of quinte and am interested in any offshore spots anyone can suggest for us. Im thinking about trying out myers peir in bellville later on this evening since ive been reading a little bit about it.
Also whats working for the walleye here? back in Thunder bay I had a lot of luck with minnows, but im noticing not a lot of people use minnows around here.
I would appreciate any advice any one has to offer. Ive only been fishing for two years so Im tryin to absorb any advice I can.
Thanks guys
jeff

most people are fishing worm harnesses with bottom bouncers out of a boat. worms work great for the walleye, but the silver bass are in now and i find them irritating, they steal your bait every 5 seconds. So i just tend to throw crankbaits. Taildancers, cc shads, jointed shad raps, all work for me! the walleye around here seem to like bright colours like chartrueuse or flourescent orange or pink or whatever really. fish from shore with crank baits just before dark and youll get your walleye!
