Quinte Fishing

On behalf of the executive of the Quinte Fishing Series, I want to thank all our anglers who donated either food items or made a cash donation at the tournament yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised how many people remembered to bring food items and we weighed everything and were able to donate over 425. 00 lbs of food! We also had $200.50 in cash come in and I wrote a cheque on the Series behalf for $150.00 so we handed over $350.00 in money also. Well done ladies and gentlemen!! To echo Pepe's comments, I am inspired to be associated with an organization that recognizes the need to help those within the community that are less fortunate. The response to this drive says "boatloads" about our fishing community and what we can accomplish as a group. Let's make this initiative an annual event and twice as big next year!
