As the salmon season winds down it is now timefor the Landshark Team to turn the focus to Gold. Met up with a couple buddies of mine and since the winds were looking good we decided to make a run out to some islands and shoals that hold summer walleye. We pulled a 6 board spread and had a nice chop in the morning. We used this chance to experiment with alot of different and new baits as well as some of our meat and potato baits. It felt good to be trolling for big wallys again. The action was good in the morning but then it went sunny, hot, and flat. The bite died.
Here are a couple of our fish. We are going to try some different areas next weekend. These areas tell alot about when the bite should start in BOQ for the big girls.
