Out with great G2 friends, Corey Melilli and Johnny Adenza for a fun day on the water.

Well the Walleye (and Largemouth) certainly did cooperate today, and as has happened so many times this summer, the big fish were out in the big water. The deepwater crankbait bite is STILL our main focus, with a significant number of go to spots that have schools of weedline walleye on them. We hit a number of big fish today, with only a few smaller walleye. We hit a few fish from 7am to 10am, however the main bite started around 10am and went until 3pm.

The fun part today was Corey, Johhny and I had some fun competitive action going on with side bets for the most fish caught….(BTW – Johnny and I tied, with Corey off by 1 Walleye).

An interesting note: The wind picked up quite heavily in the afternoon, without the incredible Minn Kota iPilot (From Radioworld) and it’s ability to Spot Lock, we would not have been able to stay on the fish the way we did.

Here are a few pics…. more pics @ G2Angling ...enjoy.

Cheers, G2Angling…

Already commented on these "beauties" to John in an e-mail, but, here's a more "public" way to go guys!!! Some really nice summer eyes! Hoping to get into some of them this weekend, first time back to the "Bay" since spring!!
