I went out last Tuesday up to Stoco where the fishing pressure is heavy and we got 2. One was 36" and the other was 40". Shortline trolling in the prop wash has been a very effective presentation for me. For anyone who tracks the solunar there was a full moon as well as the Autumnal Equinox. The water was 62 and the wind over the water was from the south, but the clouds were moving north. After catching the 2nd 'lunge a thunderstorm moved in and ended our day. We didn't get to have a chat with big mother, but she is still out there and I hope to have a conversation, take a couple of pics, and bid her farewell for the year in the next couple of weeks.

I hope to go out again this week and have space for one more hunter in the boat. I have a 16ft springbok with a 20 on the back. Not a Ranger or Stratos I know but it has served me very well. If you think you want to try a morning on the water drop me a line and I will try and get back to you asap.

Yes Stoco is in Tweed. I was out with my son on Sat am and there were at least 13 other boats on the water by 8am. Stoco is not that large a body of water but every time I suggested a spot to try there was already at least one boat in the vicinty sometimes more. We were covering water and my son had one follow and one hit right beside the boat but alas he tried to set the hook before the 'lunge hit his lure. Good luck fishing.
