Anyone local that uses the West lake boat ramp on county rd 12 might want to remind their councilor that comes looking for a vote that the channel needs dredging before next year or it will soon be useless.

You're not kidding. It's horrible this year.

is that the launch on Klinstuber? heck hard enough for them to keep the harbor in good shape if you ask me every launch in the county could use some work and there really isnt that many

No its the one on Kleinsteuber. A few scoops with a hoe would go a long way and now is the time to do it.

In the spring when I had to use that launch a few times I kept plugging my water intake system on my motor. Had to replace the impeller once and clean it out several times. I just couldn't trim the motor up high enough to keep it from turning up the mud and crap on the bottom in that channel. Used it last weekend for the first time since and quess what. Plugged again! Think I will make the longer drive to a better launch from now on.
