Finally after 10 months the S.S. Minnow I bought last November has hit the water. It's a 21 foot Crew bowrider, which I have converted into my fishing machine, old interior gone/new interior in, old motor out/ new motor in, outdrive completely rebuilt. Hundreds of hours of work, has everything you could want or need to fish, SAS seats, custom livewell, Big Jon downriggers, Minn Kota Maxxum, mast and big planner boards, tons of storage space, enough room to have a brass pole in back, orca rod holders, radio, vhf, cheap fish finder for now/structure scan coming for xmas!
This boat's only purpose is to keep me on the Lake for Salmon etc, and the big water of late fall early winter Walleye hunting. It will also provide me with hours of rest and relaxation and pure fishing pleasure regardless of species. I only mention this special occasion simply for the fact I've attempted several times to go fishing only to have something happen to prevent this from happening, whether it be work related or some sort of breakdown, like burning out a trailer wheel bearing while trying to get out Salmon fishing and spending 7 hours repairing it in a parking lot of Timmies.
I consider this last weekend to be like the Mastercard commercial, with the punch line being the cost, PRICELESS.
With this all said please find attached our success this weekend, fished Salmon Saturday with Ron and here is the result. Fished Musky Sunday with Randy and again our results. Although not monsters, either one of them, they're good fish just the same and the joy of putting fish in the S.S, Minnow for the first time, especially by me is PRICELESS.

Congrats. Me'n my Snarf did that years ago. On its maiden voyage, we almost sank the damned thing because one of the livewell lines wasn't connected :o .

Of course, it was Snarfy's fault
