Quinte Fishing

I was thinking of trying out the river this weekend does anyone Know of a good boat launch in the area? Is the fishing any good? I'm looking to try to get some pike thanks

The only launches on the river between Glen Ross and Frankford cost you $10 from the campsite on Hiway 33 or $5 from a guys backyard on Rosebush Rd. He has a sign out front.
If you're looking for pike above Glen Ross, the best luck I have had over the years is further up by Myersburg. There's a launch in behind the Flea market off hiway 30. Take the road behind the flea market, or the road that goes past the Warkworth penitentary. You have to take one of the little roads where all the cottages are. I can't remember the road's name, but there's only one with a launch at the end. There's a lot of good pike water up there.
