Spent the morning out on the Bay with little luck. Tried rush bar, the hole at the narrows and the bay bridge. No takers....anyone else having any luck out there for the eyes? Starting to get frustrated but maybe it's just too early.....I hope... :?

Went out today....still no eyes....did catch about 50 perch.....my son loved it. We kept about 20 nice size ones for a fish fry tonight....yum.....

Any help of where to go on the bay would definitely be appreciated.....

Guys, it is still a tough bite on Quinte.

We managed these 2 yesterday.

Reef Runners - siver/blue & Eirly Naked. We went 2 for 5 and the other hits were on Clown & Eriedescent. We fished Keith's Shoal to east of the Bat Cave.
We had no hits on mono off the in-lines. All shots were on 2 & 2 1/2 cores. Weird.
Speed was a bit slower at 1.65 to 1. 75 mph.

At 1 pm we ran into Picton Bay and had a shot on a clown reef runner on straight mono.

Later
Al

The report is much appreciated, I went out last night in Trenton, no hits but the water is down under 50 there so hopefully they will turn on soon. Those fish are beauties.I have never used the Reef Runners always go with the Rapala's but I think I might have to go out and get some.

Great pics Al, the darker colouring on the bigger one is really nice.
