the bite is on, trolled around from about 12:30 - 3:00 with no luck other then a few sheep head, stoped at thompsons point, at 3. to do some jigging, and bang, fish on, notthing big, kept 2 nice, 3 pound keepers, had a total of 15 in the boat, was out of minnows by 5 so it was time to come home. will take/ post pictures if i catch some bigger ones, was out by my self.
hope fully this is a sign of whats to come, i was skunked my previous few times out.

Great, nice fishin, thanks for the report.

We have been out the last 4 weekends fishing mainly Picton Bay. Caught eyes every trip out. We have fished the Adolphus Reach but with little success.
We have steadily watched those fish move towards Thompson's after the walleye and cormorants chewed up the schools of forage in the Bay. They are hungry and on the move.

Interesting that they have gone that deep already.

Thanks for the report
Al

i was jigging 10 feet of bottom, fish finder screen showed them ranging from 6-15 feet of bottom. i dropped anchor and let fish come to me. i have no idea where the fish i was catching were actualy coming from. i droped bait to bottom, reset line counter, reel 10 feet of line in, and away i went.
