had a friend reccomend checking out Thompson's Point for some quality walleye this time of yr,
when i try and use google earth to find this spot i cant seem to find it anywhere in google earth.
i was kinda hoping some 1 could explain where it is and how the walleye fishing would be there in
the next week - 10 days? any info is greatly appreciated. was also curious if the winds are always
really bad this time of yr we have a 16 foot boat and wanna make sure it will be safe to fish there,
the boats not deep or really wide and we just wanna get some nice walleye and stay safe doing it.

This should help, the red "X" marks where Kieth's shoal is located.

Hey WalleyeFreak,

Use the attached map as a rough guide, when you head in that direction on the south shore of adulphus reach you will see the shoal as its marked by a buoy

do you know where the launch is besides the old haybay church ?? south shore.
when you leave there, in boat, turn left, west. keep going west until you see a ton of boats, you are now at tompson's point, since i posted my fishing report, the number of boats there has gone insane, when i went out that day and the few before, never saw more then 5, now i see more then 30 every time out, and i see lots of people catching fish, including my self, i should of mentioned that its a good spot for eatter's. the big spawners arent fully in yet, still early for the monsters. i did see one about 8 pounds caught today.
kept two again, trew many back.

how is the walleye fishing in belleville this time of year anygood or not to many big fish.
as they might take a while to get all the way up there, which would prolly mean later in
the fall or for ice fishing correct? is picton the best place to go to catch trophy walleye
that you will see once in a lifetime?

3-5 and bigger, generaly safer the farther in the bay you go, it can get ruff out by keiths shoel, in a hurry, when you say friends, i dont know how many guys you mean, but if your ever coming down with just one friend (or by your self), i wouldnt mind taking you guys out, i know of a different shoel, wont give it up, as its bread and butter for some of the guides that fish for a living, i was out there today, and saw nothing but monsters, its a good place to jig them up, i have a 18,6 bass boat with a 150 merc, so when it start to get ruff i can get out of there in a hurry
