Finally had some spare time between work, fishing and kids activities so we invited my parents up for a walleye din-din and that way I'd also get dad to help me measure and put up the display :) , only weighs about 75#!!

My first choice was to mount it in the bedroom above our headboard :P but we talked it out and reached a mutually satisfactory location and decided to mount it in the basement above fireplace  , here's a a couple of pics.

Now theres a sweet mount..... my wife made me put my sheepy in the shed..... Now that I showed her yours, she might consider something coming into the house. Serious though the closer I look at my own mount I really give alot of respect to the people at Advanced Taxi they really do a superb job!

This is really a great wall mount, from where did you get it?

Gavin had those made from Advanced Taxidermy.

The best replica producer that I'm aware of.

I have never been a fan of mounts, on the rare occasion I get a good fish I always preferred to get a nice picture and get that blown up and framed but wow this might change my mind, that looks amazing. More art than mount!

I'll take crap for this but, if I get a fish large enough for "me" to consider mounting it, I'll be doing a skin mount.

However, Advanced Taxidermy is the best in the business with replica's.

Another option with AT is a fish like a King Salmon, where releasing it doesn't mean much, but you still want a replica (as they last longer), you can bring you actual fish to AT, where they will make a mold of your ACTUAL fish, not a similar fish (as replica's must be made from a pre-existing mold).

In some cases, I've been told, if you catch a truly rare fish, that AT doesn't have a mold for, and you keep it, they will give you a heavily discounted price, just so that they can use your fish to make a mold from.

That's probably the best replica I've seen. If you don't mind, what's a job like that run? Feel free to not answer that one, just wondering
