I think it is one of the those items you purchase once and don't really upgrade. So unless someone decides not to ice fish anymore, there are not too many used ones around.

Guys,

There is always someone looking to upgrade, even a good quality Flasher. It's a fisherman's nature.

Last month, I traded my Vexilar FL-18 for an FL-8se plus cash. Then I sold the FL-8 the very next day.

Took all the cash and bought an Vexilar FL-20. The new unit still took a bit more cash out of my pocket.

I had no idea how much people want a Vexilar, until I decided to do the upgrade.

I would consider selling my Vexilar fl 8 genz model in order to upgrade myself. Not sure what they go for but would like to get the $200 I paid for it seeing as it has 2 batteries with it now (1 new 1 reconditioned)

Middlewick indicated a Genz pack. That would be the bright blue carrying case. It is heavier than the pro or ultra packs, but is very rugged and durable. I would think they are almost unbreakable.

The best part is that I still get to use it until I get my new 1.
